Mr. Jagdish Khattar, a dynamic visionary, mentor and customer oriented person conceived and launched Carnation Auto in 2008.

Before starting his journey as an entrepreneur, Mr Khattar joined Maruti Suzuki as Director Marketing in 1993 and was the Managing Director and CEO from 1999 to 2007. Prior to joining Maruti, Mr. Khattar was a member of the Indian Administrative Services for twenty eight years and spearheaded some key positions such as District Magistrate, Chamoli, UP; Managing Director UP State Industrial Development Corporation; Director, Tea Board of India, London; Chairman, Tea Board, Ministry of Commerce; Chairman and Managing Director, UP State Cement Corporation Secretary, Department of Transport, Uttar Pradesh;  Chairman, UP State Road Transport Corporation and his last assignment was Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Steel.

Mr. Khattar has been awarded the Pathfinder CEO of the year 2006 by National HRD Network, Auto Car man of the year 2008 by CNBC, Auto Man of the year 2008 by NDTV Profit and Founders award 2008 by JD Powers & Associates. Under his leadership Carnation has been given the Award for the Automotive Idea of the Year by ET ZigWheels in January 2010.

An Honours graduate in Arts from St. Stephens College, Delhi University Mr. Khattar is a qualified lawyer and has also been conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration from the London Metropolitan University, UK.

A result oriented perfectionist with exceptional analytical skills, Mr. Shankar is responsible for managing all the finances and financial operations of the organisation. He carries with him a rich cross functional experience of Finance and Accounts, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Legal, Logistics, IT and non production purchases.

With more than twenty eight years of financial experience, Mr Shankar has worked with some leading multinational companies like Schneider Electric India as Director Finance & Company Secretary, Eternet Everest and A.F. Ferguson (Part of Deloitte).

Mr. Shankar is a B. Com graduate and has subsequently completed his CA in 1981 and CS in 1984.

Mr. Agarwal is responsible for parts sourcing, managing distribution and complex supply chain systems. He is involved in the management of all projects including site selection; creation of infrastructure and all contractual activities at Carnation. With more than twenty seven years of experience in materials management, project management, global sourcing, imports, logistics, warehousing, vendor development and commercial functions in Automotive, Electronic and Process Industries, Mr. Agarwal has contributed significantly towards cost savings through commercial negotiations and strategic initiatives like value engineering.  

He has experience in working for  reputed companies  like  Maruti  Udyog, Tata Motors, ACME  Telepower,  Sona  Steering  Group  and  BPL  Group. 

An engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, Mr. Agarwal holds Diploma in Material and Business Management.

Sanjay has more than twenty years of diversified experience and is in charge of projects related to Infrastructure Development. He is responsible for the overall built up and hand over a fully functional site to the Service Operations team.

Sanjay has worked with reputed companies like JCTEL, BPL, Moser Bear and ACME. A Six Sigma Green Belt qualified professional and a certified Internal Auditor, Sanjay is known for his analytical approach in achieving time bound targets.

Sanjay is a Mechanical Engineer with a MBA in Operations Management.

Mr. Kharbanda heads the Marketing, Sales and Business Development functions and is responsible for revenue generation at Carnation, including Workshop on Wheels, Accessories, Car Exchange and Insurance. Project Management, Execution skills, Channel Management and managing start ups are some of his strengths.

Prior to joining Carnation he was with Transconnect, part of Reliance Industries Ltd. As the Vice President of the company he was involved in setting up a chain of Transconnect centres. Mr. Kharbanda has also worked in other leading companies like Castrol India Ltd, Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

An Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering Mr. Kharbanda subsequently completed a PGCGM from IIM Calcutta. He has also done “Senior Management Program” from IIM Calcutta.

Gautam has over thirteen years of experience in the service and the hospitality industry. He is involved in the Business Development activities at Carnation. A team player, Gautam has successfully got quality business leads while keeping costs under control.

Gautam has an MBA Degree from New Hampshire College, USA and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from PUSA institute. His previous stints include GE Capital and Samsung Electronics where he was exposed to Sales, Operations and Manufacturing domain.

Sanjay holds over eighteen years of experience. He is a part of the Business Development team. Sanjay is actively involved in all the BD pitches and has been aggressive in getting leads.

Sanjay has worked with some leading names in the corporate world like Aditya Birla Retail, Yamaha Motors, House of Patel, Phoenix industries and JVG Retail.

With a Masters in Business Management from KJ Somaiya, Sanjay has done an Executive Management course from Indian Institute of Management – Calcutta and course in “Managing Retailing” from Indian Institute of Management – Ahmadabad.

Satvinder has more than fifteen years of experience in Global Sourcing, Vendor development, SCM, retail category management, Spare parts and Accessory Business. He is General Manager Supply Chain & Accessory Business at Carnation Auto. He plays a key role in sourcing of parts and managing effective distribution of the same to the network.

Prior to joining Carnation, Satvinder was with Reliance Retail. Apart from this he has also worked with Hyundai Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero Honda motors, Piaggio C & SPA for global sourcing with purchase division.

He is a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical engineering from NIT Kurukshetra and has done MBA in Marketing from Amity business school.

Venumadhav leads the pre owned cars team at Carnation. In his current profile, he is responsible for managing the procurement of used cars and selling new cars of any brand to the customer in exchange.

With more than thirteen years of experience Venumadhav has worked with companies like Reliance Autozone, eBay B2B Motors, Maruti Suzuki. He has played a key role in starting the Pre Owned Cars business at Reliance Autozone and was a core member of Maruti’s Pre Owned cars initiative, Maruti True Value.

Venumadhav is a Post Graduate in Business Management from International Management Institute, New Delhi.

Yadvendra is in charge of the roll out of Carnation’s latest and innovative business vertical, Workshop on Wheels. Yadevender along with his team is in the process of setting up the WOW network nationally.

With twelve years of experience in Strategy Planning, Dealer Management, Channel Management & Development Initiatives, Sales, Business Development and Client Relationship Management, Yadevender has worked with organizations like Reliance Retail & Toyota, India. Prior to joining Carnation, he was with Toyota.

Yadevender is a Commerce Graduate with a Masters in Business management.

Lipika is in charge of Marketing, Brand and Management Product Planning for Carnation. With over twelve years of experience, she is responsible for driving Marketing and Branding activities for the various verticals at Carnation and leads the car customization vertical, DC design.

Prior to joining Carnation she has worked with reputed brands like Bharti Airtel, Hero Motors, United Colors of Benetton, and Indian Express. She also has an international marketing experience, handling the marketing for the sports brand Yonex, for the Asia Pacific region based out of Singapore.

She has been awarded with “Top Performer of Airtel” for the year 2008-2009.

Lipika is a commerce graduate with a diploma in mass communication.

Mohit leads the Information Technology team at Carnation and is responsible for the implementation of SAP. He has played a critical role in choosing the technology relevant to the business model, which has helped the organisation to save money, retain its key differentiator and has also reduced the time-to-market.

Mohit has more than eleven years of experience in highly reputed companies like HT Media, Honeywell International and Whirlpool. He has been featured in CIO Decisions – CIO Power List, 2008, has been the winner of CIO 100-2007 awards for Innovation in IT and was recognized for his outstanding contribution in establishing the first global Honeywell India Call centre.

Mohit is an Electrical and Electronics Engineer from BITS, Pilani and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Lucknow.

Sumitabh is leading Human Resources with a focus to ensure that Business Leadership through its people add value to the organisation by being creative & effective. He is also responsible for enhancing the skills of Team Carnation through tailor-made training modules.

Prior to joining Carnation he was with Vodafone Essar and was responsible for setting up the HR systems and processes of Vodafone Essar South Ltd – UPW & Uttarkhand. Here he was also the national lead for SAP implementation in HR operations. Sumitabh has also worked for some well known organisations like Samsung India Electronics, Joyco Wrigley’s, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd and ITC Limited.

Sumitabh has a Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He is a gold medallist from Osmania University, Hyderabad for excelling in Bachelor’s in Mental Retardation.

Kunal is responsible for developing Carnation’s digital electronic and mobile strategy and managing all strategic partnerships and alliances.

Kunal has over fourteen years of experience in diverse areas like Corporate Development, Integrated Marketing, Communications, Corporate Strategy, Product Marketing and eBusiness consulting. Kunal has been involved in several early and late-stage entrepreneurship ventures prior to Carnation including Essar Cellphone which is now Vodafone , iXL Inc., Simplylook.com , InfoPro Solutions, and Aptuit Inc.

He holds a post graduate diploma in Business from the Fore School of Management, India and an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Kellogg and Medill Graduate Schools, Northwestern University, US.

Rajat has close to twenty years of experience in after sales service, customer relationship and team management.  He heads Service Operations at Carnation Auto.

Prior to joining Carnation, Rajat was with Al Futtaim Trading Enterprises in Dubai.  Rajat was in the Indian Air Force and has worked at Honda SIEL Cars Ltd in the After Sales Division

 Recipient of many awards, Rajat has won the “Best All Round Officer "award in Air force in 1992 and “Best service manager" award in 2004.

He  is a Bachelor  of  Mechanical engineering   from  MIT  Aurangabad  and  has done a specialised  Post  Graduate  Diploma  in  Operations  Management in 1995 from  Indira Gandhi University, Delhi. 

Rajeshwar is actively involved in looking after the various aspects of Service Operations. He has been diligently monitoring the Service Operations in the various units and has contributed effectively to results of most of the units.

Rajeshwar holds more than thirteen years of experience in the Automotive industry with some of the leading names in India like Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Reliance Retail.

A Mechanical Engineer from REC Silchar, Assam, Rajeshwar has been instrumental in setting up of the Automotive Service Station Chain – the first of its kind in Reliance Retail – Autozone .

Rajeshwar has been awarded with a special training programme “ AOTS – Japan “ as a token of his outstanding performance in 2000 and 2006.

Felix is responsible for setting up of Joint Ventures as well as expanding the all India network for Carnation. With more than 20 years in the Automobile industry he has extensive experience in Dealer & Channel management, Business Development, After Sales Service and Client Relationship Management.

Prior to joining Carnation he was with Mahindra First Choice as Assistant Vice President – Sales & Service. He has worked with some of the leading companies like Sah & Sanghi Group and Transweigh (I) Ltd., (An Indo – German JV).

Felix is a Commerce Graduate and has a Diploma in Automobile Engineering and Materials Management.
